Owensboro officials don’t want a lack of transportation to prevent people from voting on Election Day. The City of Owensboro is waiving public transit fees on Tuesday, November 6th at the urging of the Go Vote collaborative campaign. Transit Department buses will run their regular routes on Election Day, but all rides will be free between 6 in the morning and 7 at night. Officials say they want to make sure everyone has a chance to vote.
