Owensboro Historic Residences mark the transition of the MPD Warehouse and previously known as the the Kentucky Buggy Manufacturing Building of Owensboro, at 301 E. 9th Street, from an industrial space to 28 attractive and well-equipped one and two-bedroom apartment units.
This project started back 2014, when the managing director of COHEN-ESREY, Tom Anderson took interest in this project. “I was really impressed with what was happening here in town with all the economic development and different projects going on downtown,” said Anderson. Cohen-Esrey chose this project because of great vision the city of Owensboro has to make their town a truly great place to live.
This century old historic landmark features unique charm and modern amenities that cannot be found anywhere else, with large windows and plank flooring to the interior brick walls. Construction was completed in June 2018 and 90% of its units are already occupied.
