A 42-year-old Owensboro man was injured Monday morning when the bicycle he was riding collided with a semi truck. According to Owensboro Police Department public information officer Michael Hathaway, at 9:42am, a semi driver, a 61-year-old Jasper man, was attempting to turn from Frederica Street onto 4th. That’s when the cyclist, who was crossing the intersection, struck the side of the trailer. The cyclist, who’s name has not been released, was taken to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
