A man being sought by police in connection to a weekend shooting was arrested early Sunday morning after an unrelated incident. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Owensboro police were dispatched to Quality Quick on Breckenridge Street just after midnight Sunday in reference to a suspicious person in the parking lot. A man had gone into the store and said he came out to find 28-year-old Jim Bradley Henson in his vehicle. Police determined that Henson was the man wanted for questioning in a shooting that had occurred on Leslie Lane Saturday morning, where 38-year-old Eric Coots was shot in the leg. After being taken to Owensboro Health, Henson was arrested by deputies and charged with 1st Degree Assault, four counts of Wanton Endangerment, and other non-related charges. Henson was taken to the Daviess County Detention Center.
