Some work was seen being performed in the former Gabe’s Tower Monday. They reportedly work for a company called Environmental Demolition Group of Erlanger. That company will perform asbestos remediation and the interior cleanout of the building over the next 16 weeks. A spokesman for the companies involved in the proposed renovation of the tower says work is scheduled to begin later this week, and that a press statement from the group is coming at some time in the near future.
