More details are now known about an accident Saturday night that took the lives of three children. According to the Kentucky State Police, 32-year-old Laurie Swanson was heading east on KY 56 in a Chevy Tahoe around 9:30pm, carrying seven passengers. Troopers say as she was driving, she swerved to avoid another vehicle that was partially in her lane. Swanson then over-corrected and lost control. The SUV left the northbound shoulder of the roadway and went into a field. Police say 10-year-old Hunter Glass, 12-year-old Alexandra Glass, 13-year-old Sierra Morris, and 7-year-old Catherine Glass were all ejected from the vehicle. Hunter Glass and Sierra Morris died on scene. Troopers say Alexandra Glass passed away at a hospital. Catherine Glass is in critical condition at Kosair Hospital in Louisville. Police say the children were not wearing seat belts.
